SLEEP SANCTUARY opened in July 2004 with a vision to provide Taos County and beyond a beautiful mattress showroom offering the finest mattresses and futons at the lowest price - everyday!

Choosing the right mattress can be a complex decision, but with our 30-plus years expertise in the industry - combined with our commitment to excellent customer service - we ensure your mattress choice is correct for your individual needs. And we take pride in making your experience an enjoyable one! SLEEP SANCTUARY also offers futon frames & mattresses plus a selection of children’s wooden furniture as well as a large selection of bedding, pillows, comforters, towels, bath products, lotions, soaps, and candles.

"I LOVE what I do - helping people - it’s that simple. For over 15 years I have enjoyed helping my customers get a better night’s sleep. In my prior life I was a district manager for the largest mattress chain in the country, responsible for training and overseeing sales staff for 15 stores. I bring all that professional knowledge to our sales team at SLEEP SANCTUARY, plus now I run my own business in the friendly, “small-town”, creative environment that is Taos. Thus I have the freedom to make my own decisions and to practice my favorite professional mantra each day:

‘If we’re not having fun, we’re not doing it right.’

I think this philosophy exemplifies our company culture - and the desire for our customer to have a thoroughly enjoyable experience choosing a new mattress and getting a good night’s sleep!

Outside of the realm of SLEEP SANCTUARY, I enjoy spending time exploring the internet and social media, enjoying Taos’ restaurant scene, working out (to counter the effects of these wonderful restaurants), attending movies/plays/concerts/art openings, and hiking the many scenic trails here - with my wonderful husband Mark and our beautiful black lab, Molly. As you can see - I love Taos and all it offers!
